Lovely escape in the countryside
What a cozy spot! The staff were super friendly, always making sure we felt at home. Breakfast was lovely, and the restaurant had some seriously good choices. Our room was clean and comfy, but the shower pressure could’ve been better. Still, a nice quiet stay overall!

Perfect Hideaway with Delightful Dining
Our stay was truly memorable! The welcoming staff made us feel special right away. Dining was exquisite. I savored the prawn salad, a fresh surprise among the usual pub fare. Don't miss the steak pie, a house favorite! Take the inn's lift from the Cleveland Way for convenience too.

only thing i didn’t like was that the dining area felt a bit crowded at times, and our room was a bit noisy from the hallway.

I had a lovely stay at the Ellerby. The room was spotless and super comfy, making it perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The food was a highlight. I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, with the steak night being particularly delicious. Staff members were welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall friendly vibe. the mattress felt a bit firm for my liking, and I could hear noise from the adjacent room, which was slightly disruptive at times. Despite these minor inconveniences, everything else made for an enjoyable visit.
